During a recent graduation road trip to far Western Nebraska, we were privileged to visit several of the 2019 Nebraska Passport locations.
Our 4th stop was at Carhenge just north of Alliance. It’s a must-see if you’re out in that part of the state. It’s easy to get to, literally right along the highway. A quirky but interesting exhibit, it’s laid out in a nice fashion that allows you to spend as much time as you want walking around the main exhibit, as well as the exhibits on top of the hill. Even the benches are made out of tailgates and car parts. Very clever and kid-friendly, yet entertaining for adults of all ages. We really enjoyed our time here.
