We found the Filley Tavern easily because Filley isn’t a very big town. Luckily the bartender had the Passport stamp and gave us directions to the Stone Barn south of town. After we had something cold to drink (because it was a very hot Summer day) we headed out down country roads to find it. It’s a very sturdily built barn that is still in amazing condition. We peeked in the windows because the barn wasn’t open. You could very easily pack a picnic lunch and spend the afternoon out there. The grounds are well maintained and it’s pretty peaceful, too. There are also restrooms on site because it is used at different times by different organizations.
