Saturday Road Trippin’

A group of us headed up to Central City to enjoy breakfast and get the stamp for the Dark Horse Trail. Then up to I-80 to head west to Kearney. Stopped at the Archway. We were all blown away by how neat that was. Then into downtown Kearney to visit Shopping Trips. Nice ladies and really nice stuff to look at and buy. Then we did two unplanned stops. First was the Nebraska Prairie Museum in Holdrege. Fun looking at all the collections of old time items. Next it was south to the little community of Alma to the Dragonfly Coffee House. Sadly it was closed, but we could get our stamp at an alternate location. Heading back East, we stopped at the Hastings Museum. Loved being back to visit, after a trip with parents when I was little. Last stop of the day was the Wave Pizza Co in Grand Island. Great pizza. In total, 14 hours total, 7 passport stamps, and priceless memories. Can’t wait for our next long adventure day!
