Early in April 2020, while bored and wanting to take a road trip, I suggested to my husband and sister, that we travel to some Passport Nebraska sites. We began our adventure visiting the bees in and around Auburn, and ended the adventure at Niobrara State Park. What a great state we live in! Sometime after starting our trips, my husband began marking the Nebraska counties that we visited, which turned into a quest to hit all 93 counties along with all 70 Passport stops. We’ve finished 2020 Passport, and have 83 counties down, with 10 more to go. We’ve met some great people during our journey, including other Passport travelers, store owners and staff, restaurant and hotel personnel, parks people and residents of communities that we visited, all welcoming us with open arms and sharing stories about their town. It was a great way to keep our sanity during the 2020 pandemic. Thank you!
