The Passport Program was such a welcome diversion from all the Covid-19 “stuff” that we’ve all been going through. We were able to complete all 70 stops (minus a few that were closed). We saved Nebraska Brewing Company for our final stop! We stopped in to toast our accomplishment, and enjoyed a wonderful barrel-aged stout (Sexy Betty)! We live in Omaha, and our favorite “push” to complete the longest leg of the tour is the western Nebraska portion. While not official stops, we stayed at two wonderful motels. The first was the Husker Inn in North Platte. This place is a bargain… clean and totally adequate for just crashing for the night. We then stayed in Chadron at the Westerner. Again, a very clean motel at a bargain rate.
The Passport program is something we look forward to each year! We enjoy learning about the out-of-the-way places across the state. We also thoroughly enjoy visiting with and meeting so many fascinating people! Now that 2020’s tour is completed, we’re looking forward to 2021!!
