May 1 was a beautiful first day to start our annual Nebraska Passport trek. We were the first pass porters at 4 of the 6 stops we went to on Saturday. We had great chats at every stop in Northeast Nebraska. Keller Pharmacy was so friendly. The Koffie Knechtion was busy with many locals enjoying their delight. Blackbird Hill Studio was a delight for the eyes everywhere you looked, we were even treated to May Day treats, yum. Chatterbox Brews was a tasty yummy lunch of sirloin tips, Cheeseburgers, and homemade ranch dressing to dip our fries. We finished the stops at Blue Cat Gallery in Wayne and were enthralled with the art we saw. We finished the day at Backroad Bar-B-Que as part of the Meridian Bridge. We ordered delicious ribs, pulled pork, baked beans and ribs. We cannot wait to stop back. It was a grand beginning to the 2021 NE Passport stops!
