Every Passport traveler should download the Nebraska Passport app. Through the app you will receive notifications about unexpected Passport stop hour changes and important announcements. The app also includes directions to the stops through Google maps.

How do I download the Nebraska Passport App?

The app is free to download and is available for both iPhones and Androids.

Simply search for “Nebraska Passport 2018” in your app store.

How does getting digital stamps work?

The app works with your phone’s location services to detect if you are at a Passport stop. If you at a Passport stop, you will simply be able to press “Stamp” to collect your digital stamp.

If you are in a location where you can’t get cell phone service, the app will allow you to collect a “temporary” stamp which will become “permanent” as soon as you get back to a region with cell phone service. No action is needed on your end to make a temporary stamp permanent.

Can I collect both digital and booklet stamps? How do I get credit for all my stamps?

It is acceptable to collect both digital and booklet stamps.

Here’s how you get credit for all your stamps: Digital stamps are automatically recorded under the name you use to set up your app account. Thus, you do not need to “submit” your digital stamps. Once a digital stamp is collected, you are automatically given credit; no further action needed.

When you are done collecting booklet stamps, mail your booklet prize entry sheet to Nebraska Tourism and your booklet stamps will be added to your digital stamp totals.

Can multiple people use one phone to collect stamps?

Yes, you can create multiple accounts on one phone, so multiple people can collect stamps on one phone by logging in and out of accounts.
