The Gothenburg Historical Museum is a collection of historical items from the Gothenburg area starting before 1882 to the present that gives visitors a "window into the past for future generations". Our museum is filled with artifacts beginning with the building of the railroad in the 1860's and businesses and industry that came due to the construction of the lake to produce electricity as early in 1891. Displays also feature our agriculture history from one-row planters to one that utilizes center-pivots to irrigate our crops today.
