Stuhr Museum

Stuhr Museum is a vast, 200-acre campus in Grand Island, Nebraska committed to sharing the collective human experience of community building along the Platte River Valley. Through experiential living history attractions, cultural programming, historic exhibits, and educational activities, Stuhr Museum is a unique and powerful experience.

Highlights include the elegant Stuhr Building, designed by Edward Durell Stone, housing rotating and permanent exhibits year-round, and our 1890s Railroad Town featuring costumed interpreters and historic homes and businesses to interact with during spring and summer. Informative and entertaining programs and events are presented all year long on a variety of topics.
