Festival of Trees:
The Festival of Trees Open House will be Dec. 5. The evening will include the lighting of the Community Christmas tree at 2nd and Main Streets, a Parade of Lights and after-hours viewing of the Festival of Trees until 7:30 p.m. with refreshment and live entertainment by the United Methodist Handbell Choir.

Shops at the Victor Anderson Building:
November 30 - Lighting of the Square when trees in the city park are lit simultaneously; including horse drawn wagon rides, music and a community soup supper. Also, on the 30th from 9:00 to 2:00 is a Holiday Market on the Square featuring vendors in many of the local businesses.
December 7 - Swedish heritage is celebrated with the Swedish Konditori at the 4th Street Coffee Shop. An array of Swedish treats and desserts can be enjoyed in the morning through early afternoon.
Village of Verdigre's Vesele Vanoce:
Vesele Vanoce: December 7
Santa Dash: Registration at 9:30 a.m. 1 mile run/walk through the charming Czech Verdigre Community. Santa hats provided to participants.
Full day of events and activities on the Main Street including a visit from Santa. The Verdigre Music Booster soup supper will serve Czech Koprova and Goulash soups.
Lighted Parade at 6:00 p.m. followed by Polka Dance at ZCBJ Hall.
December 8: Verdigre Community Chorus performance at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Verdigre at 1:00 p.m.
