Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Headquarters Visitor Center

Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail is approximately 4,900 miles long, extending from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to the mouth of the Columbia River, near present day Astoria, Oregon, following the historic outbound and inbound routes of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The trail connects 16 states (Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon) and many Tribal lands.

Lewis & Clark NHT is located within the National Park Service Midwest Regional Office along the beautiful riverfront in Omaha, NE, right next to the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge. In the summer the visitor center is open 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday & 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM on weekends and holidays. Winter hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, closed weekends.
