Founded in 1924, the Omaha Community Playhouse has grown into the largest community theatre in the nation. Two theatres with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment feature 11 productions and special events annually, including Omaha's holiday tradition A Christmas Carol! Alumni include Henry Fonda, Dorothy McGuire and Dorothy Brando (mother of Marlon Brando).
