Happy Jack Peak and Chalk Mine

More than 6,000 feet of honeycombed caverns. Features the only publicly accessible room and pillar chalk mine in North America. Spectacular view of the North Loup River Valley. Hiking and picnicking. Open Memorial Day – Labor Day, 10am-5pm weekdays, 10am-6pm weekends. Grounds open dawn-dusk. Admission to mine: $16 adults, $12 seniors, $10 children ages 5 to 12, ages 4 & under free, Veterans – $8.
