The world’s largest stamp ball can be seen at the Leon Myers Stamp Center in Boys Town, in the heart of Omaha. Visitors are welcome to examine and touch the stamp ball- its sphere is 32 inches in diameter, weighs 600 pounds and contains a reported 4,655,000 stamps. It was originally started by the Boys Town Stamp Collecting Club in 1953 and took three years to complete.

The International Quilt Museum is located in Nebraska's state capital on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus. The museum has the world's largest public collection of quilts, with some objects dating as far back as the early 1600s. The museum's mission is to build a global collection of quilts celebrating culture and diversity throughout history.

5. world's only fur trade Museum

Visit the only museum dedicated to the preservation of the North American fur trade situated in Chadron. This remarkable gallery is on the historic grounds of James Bordeaux's trading post, established in 1837 for the American Fur Company and now proudly listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Chadron.

Swing on the world's largest covered porch swing in all seasons! The porch swing is a staggering 32 feet long and was built in 1985. The swing is a loved treasure for many in the small community of Hebron, which is now "Nebraska's Porch Swing Capitol."

9. world's smallest court room

The world's smallest court room resides in Arthur, Nebraska. Spanning 26x28 feet, the building took $900 to finish in 1914. It served as the Arthur County Courthouse until 1961 and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

10. world's largest standing woolly mammoth fossil

Meet the world's largest standing Woolly mammoth fossil, Archie. Made from the fossils of four Columbian mammoths, Archie towers at a staggering height of 14 feet and 25 feet long. The bones were originally discovered in 1921 by a rancher in Lincoln County. Within 12 years the Archie fossil mount was completed and open to display in 1933 at Morrill Hall on the University of Nebraska city campus in Lincoln.
