For many, fall not only brings about the change of the season but also the time for harvest. Everyone knows that produce your pick yourself just tastes better, and Nebraska offers plenty of opportunities to harvest your own fruits and vegetables. Fall is for picking delicious apples, plump pumpkins and even the occasional ear of sweet corn. Scour the 180 acres of farmland at Roca Berry Farm for the perfect gourds, squash or pumpkins or sink your teeth into a juicy apple fresh from the tree at Kimmel Orchard & Vineyard.
 

State Parks

In the spirit of outdoor exploration, head to Nebraska’s eight state parks for hiking, biking and wildlife watching.
